Snowkap – Terms of Use

Welcome to Snowkap Technologies Private Limited and its affiliated entities (collectively referred to as “Snowkap”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our websites, software applications, platforms, and services (the “Services”), whether accessed from India, Singapore, the UAE, or any other jurisdiction.
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Services.
1. Scope of Services
Snowkap provides enterprise-grade software and managed solutions for:
- ESG compliance and sustainability reporting
- Carbon accounting (Scope 1, 2, 3)
- AI-powered PCF calculations
- Supplier onboarding and ESG assessments
- Framework-aligned disclosures (e.g., BRSR, GRI, CSRD, CDP, TCFD, ESRS)
Our Services may include AI features, integrations, advisory modules, dashboards, and third-party tools.
2. Eligibility and User Responsibility
By using Snowkap, you represent that you:
- Are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- Have the authority to act on behalf of the entity you represent.
- Will not use the platform for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.
3. Account Registration and Access
To use our platform, you may be required to register and create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep it updated. Snowkap reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.
4. Why We Process Personal Data
4.1. Customer Data
All data uploaded by you or collected on your behalf (“Customer Data”) remains your property. Snowkap will use such data solely to provide, improve, and maintain the Services.
4.2. Data Privacy
Snowkap complies with applicable data protection regulations including:
- India: Information Technology Act & Rules
- Singapore: Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)
- UAE: Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection (PDPL)
- EU (if applicable): General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
We implement SSL encryption, role-based access, and security best practices to safeguard Customer Data.
5. Intellectual Property
We use the following cookies:
- All intellectual property rights in the platform, templates, algorithms, methodologies, and Snowkap content remain the exclusive property of Snowkap.
- You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform solely for your internal business operations.
- You may not reproduce, reverse-engineer, distribute, or sell any part of our technology or content without written permission.
Consent is required for non-essential cookies. You can manage your preferences through browser settings.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for fraudulent, illegal, or harmful purposes.
- Upload viruses, malicious code, or harmful content.
- Bypass security mechanisms or attempt unauthorized access.
- Misrepresent data or impersonate another person or entity.
7. Third-Party Services and Integrations
Our Services may integrate with third-party APIs, datasets, or platforms (e.g., GHG databases, ERP systems). Snowkap is not responsible for external service disruptions or inaccuracies stemming from these providers.
8. Availability and Support
Snowkap strives to maintain uptime and service reliability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Platform support is available through:

10. Disclaimers
- The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
- Snowkap disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- We do not warrant that the Services will meet your expectations or regulatory interpretations in every jurisdiction
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Snowkap shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.
- Our aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Services in the preceding 12 months.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by:
- India: Indian laws, with jurisdiction in Mumbai
- Singapore: Singapore law, with jurisdiction in Singapore
- UAE: Applicable UAE laws, with jurisdiction in Dubai
For international customers, any dispute shall be resolved through mutual negotiation and, failing that, binding arbitration under the UNCITRAL rules, seated in Singapore.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. You will be notified via email or platform alerts. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
